Linh was in town visiting from Las Vegas and booked a couple of my mini-sessions to take pictures of her and her family at the beach while they were in town. Unfortunately baby T wasn't feeling very well, but he was such a trooper and Daddy even managed to get a few smiles out of him during their session.

Saldua Family

You know how sometimes you meet someone and you click instantly? This was the case with Janelle & I and we've been fast friends ever since. Unfortunately her and her family are moving to Philadelphia this month, but they should be back next year (fingers crossed). Before they leave, she asked me to take some family photos of them and wanted downtown SD in the background since that's where they've lived for the past few years. It was an incredibly bright morning, but we managed to find a few shady spots and also took a quick walk on the beach.

Isn't their son adorable? Charlie is an amazing baby and one of the happiest 5 month olds I've ever met. Of course he wasn't interested in looking at the camera much no matter how much we tried! And why should he, toes, grass and sand are SO much more interesting :)

I miss you already Janelle, Nelson and Charlie! Come home soon!!!

Jeff + Laci {Engagment Session}

Okay, how beautiful are these two. Seriously, as I was taking their pictures I was constantly thinking to myself, "these two are going to make some gorgeous babies".

Laci & Jeff are getting married next year in Texas, but wanted their engagement photos to be at the beach in Coronado, not too far from their home. Jeff was a good sport, especially with all of my directing, and we all know how much most men love to have their picture taken ;)

Congratulations to you both! And Jeff, THANK YOU for doing what you do!!!

Another beautiful fall day in San Diego, and another fun morning at the beach. I met Ali & her boys down in Coronado. Her boys were high energy, and they had such a great time playing in the water and also with the mud. Boys will be boys afterall ;) Enjoy!!

Ms. Michelle's Infant Class

I purposefully don't book any picture parties after August 31st because that's when my busy season picks up, but I couldn't say no when Belle's old Mommy & Me teacher came-a-callin'. Isabelle & I spent two years in Ms. Michelle's infant & toddler classes... learning new things, singing songs, dancing, bonding and having fun.

I met her and her infants' class down on Coronado Island last week for some picture taking fun! What CUTIE PIES!!! All of the kids were between 4 and 13 months, and most of them were learning how to sit up on their own or just started crawling. Below are a few of my favorites from the day, though I could have posted countless more. Enjoy!!

Michael & Kanchan Anniversary Photos

Let me start off by saying how much fun this shoot was! Michael & Kanchan were in town visiting family from Canada, and also happened to be celebrating their 1st Wedding Anniversary. Kanchan's sister (who's family I photographed last Winter) contacted me to see if I would take photos of them as an anniversary gift from her. Not only did she set up the whole session, but she also scheduled a day of pampering for her sister pre-shoot (what a fabulous sister huh?!).

These two are absolutely beautiful inside & out, and didn't hesitate to do anything that I asked of them. The beach was pretty crowded since it was Labor Day Weekend, but we managed to find some quiet spots. Thanks so much Shivi, Michael & Kanchan for such a fun evening. Your photos turned out beautifully and it was tough for me to pick out just a few favorites. I hope you enjoy them too!!
