They're ba-ack! Announcing the return of Grin & Share It's Playgroup Picture Parties!! For more information please contact me at, tessa@grinandshareitphoto.com.
I had my first picture party of the season last week with one of my favorite playgroups. It was so great to see how much the kids had grown, and also to meet the newest playgroup additions :) Below are some images from a few of the kiddos I had the pleasure of photographing.
Enjoy,
Tessa

Freitas Family
I met up with the Freitas Family on a wet Sunday morning last weekend. Even though it sprinkled on us most of the morning, that didn't stop this family from having some fun, climbing some trees and they even obliged me with a little hike on some narrow trails. Looking at their pictures I couldn't help but smile... their laughter is contagious and hopefully brings a smile to your faces as well. Enjoy!!

Cooper Family
The first question I ask a family when we meet for a session is, "are there any shots that you really want to get?". The most common answer is, "I'd like at least one posed photo of the whole family looking and smiling at the camera". I totally understand this because when we have family photos taken, that's usually my goal as well - with some candid photos mixed in. I try my hardest to get this shot at every shoot, but sometimes it's nearly impossible depending on how many children I'm shooting and their ages. The Cooper family was no exception, and since their youngest was 3 I was prepared to sing a song, or perhaps even tell a knock-knock joke. Nope, not needed. The entire family stood/sat where I suggested and smiled sweetly at the camera while being completely still!! We also had some fun racing around the park, and I did get to tell that knock-knock joke afterall... I can never resist the chance to tell a joke to a captive audience of 3 & 5 year olds ;)

8.22.08 Picture Party
The captain of this playgroup picked out the park for their picture party, promising me plenty of shade and some lovely backdrops. Wow was she right! I loved this park, and the kids were so much fun too. Check out some of the sibling pictures. They're amazing, and as I was going back through them, they moved me so much! Most of the older kids just took the lead and I was lucky enough to be there to capture it.
