And Baby Makes Five {Lynette's Maternity Session}

I only wish that I looked this great when I was pregnant! I mean look at her adorable, perfectly round belly!! You'd think by the way she's carrying that she is expecting another boy, but nope, this time pink is in the air :)

We scheduled Lynette's session right after the New Year, on the same day that the weathermen told us that it wouldn't start raining until after 7:00pm, or "even later". Nope, wrong! About five minutes into their session, at 3:35pm, it started to drizzle. Then is started to pour. Session over! I did manage to get some beautiful shots before the skies opened up on us, and we decided to reschedule for part II in my backyard the following weekend. As luck would have it, it was nice out last weekend and we finished up the second half of her session with some lovely images. Ahhh, happy photographer, and most importantly, happy client!!

And Baby Makes Four {Jana's Maternity Session}

I was super excited to get back behind the camera on Monday after nearly a month of vacation. Not only was I excited because I was ready to get back to work, but also because I was taking maternity photos of my girlfriend Jana and her family. During the session Jana kept mentioning that she'd be trying to convince Cliff to take family photos for a few years now, and it took her getting pregnant to finally get her wish :) I'm glad she did too because I had an absolute blast during their session and was amazed at how quickly the hour and 1/2 flew by.

Congrats again Jana and I absolutely cannot wait to meet Graison!!

As soon as I met Christina & David I knew this was going to be a fun session! Poor Christina was a great sport because it got downright COLD at the beach that night, and yet you would never know it by looking at their photos.

I absolutely can't wait to meet their little one next month, and to grab more photos of this gorgeous couple.

And Baby Makes Four {Ohta Family}

I met Jin & her family at Balboa Park last Friday. It was another hot day, but I was okay with that because the light was absolutely beautiful that morning. Not to mention that the last session I had with them was one of my favorites, and this one certainly did not disappoint. This family is so affectionate, relaxed and knows how to have fun. Their pictures always show that!

Jin is due just one short week after I am, but I swear her belly is half the size :) Congratulations Ohta family on your new addition. I can't wait to photograph him!!!!!

And Baby Makes Four {Denielle's Maternity Session}

I know most pregnant women don't feel beautiful when they're pregnant (myself included), but Denielle should! She simply GLOWS... with a perfectly round tummy and I swear she hasn't put on a pound anywhere else. We went to PB on Sunday to take a few pictures since she's due in two short weeks, and her son Garett wanted to join us. Garett is very excited to meet his baby brother, and so am I. It seems like yesterday that I was there the day that Garett was born, and now I get to be there when his little brother comes into this world too.

And Baby Makes Three {Giesing Family}

This is definitely the year of babies and I am enjoying it SO much! Meet Ted & Kelly... when I went to their house to pick them up for their session I noticed a frame on the counter with my pictures in it. Curious, I went in for a closer took and saw the most adorable gift ever. Ted had gone onto my website, uploaded a couple of my maternity pictures along with my logo, printed them on a piece of paper, personalized it with a little note, and framed it. All together now, Aweeeeeeeee. Honestly, how many husbands buy their wives a shower gift, and I loved the thought he put into it.

I am so excited for these two and the journey they're about to embark upon. They are a beautiful couple inside and out (seriously, look at these pictures!) and I can't wait to meet baby Giesing next month!
