Kalina & Cody's Senior Portraits

These two high school sweethearts wanted to do their portrait session together before they go off to separate colleges in the fall. Ms. Kalina's Momma is a good friend of mine, so I happily agreed to meet them at the beach for some photo taking fun. I love senior sessions, and doing two at the same time plus couple photos was definitely a fun twist!

I hadn't seen Kalina in quite a few years, so seeing her all grown up was quite a shock for me at first. We used to tell Mir all the time when Kalina was little, "I feel for you when she grows up and all the boys are knocking on her door". She is just as gorgeous as we knew she would be, and even more so on the inside than out! The best part, the boy knocking on her door is a wonderful young man who treats her well.

Enjoy,
Tessa

Lauren's Senior Portraits

I have known Lauren since she was 7 years old. It seems like yesterday that she was half my height and now she's taller than I am (oh and how I wish I could have her legs...yes, I am jealous!). This beautiful young lady is SO much fun and quite the athlete. I'm sure her parents are proud of the person she has become, and knowing how wonderful they both are, I'm not at all surprised she turned out as amazing as she did.

I hope you like your sneak peek photos Lauren, you are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!

Enjoy,
Tessa

Brittany's Senior Portraits {Part II}

More gorgeous pictures of Ms. Brittany! The weather at the beach last week was amazing and we lucked out with a beautiful spring sunset too. Did I mention that Britanny was a volleyball player? I asked her if she'd jump off a rock and give me her best "serve" pose. Boy oh boy did she deliver!

Enjoy,
Tessa

Brittany's Senior Portraits {Part 1}

I've only done a handful of Senior sessions and always forget just how much fun they are! Brittany was no exception... look at her, she's just beautiful and had the sweetest soul. Britanny drove all the way from El Centro with her Mom & Grandma for her session. She wanted some urban type shots as well as beach photos. I suggested downtown La Jolla since I really wanted to do her beach portraits at Windansea and I'm so glad I did. There are some beautiful locations to shoot at around every corner and we only stayed in a two block radius.

I'm doing something a bit different with this blog post since I couldn't narrow down which photos I wanted to blog (and in 2 hours you know I took a LOT of photos ;). This blog will include all of the urban shots, and then I will do a separate blog post with her beach photos.

Brittany, I hope you love your pictures as much as I do! Thanks you all so so much for a great afternoon in La Jolla.

Enjoy,
Tessa

Fun with Photoshop!

I just had to show off these adorable cards that I made for Amanda to insert into to her Graduation Announcements. Since I usually only use Photoshop to manipulate my photos, I had so much fun playing with some of the other functions it provides. Yay for learning new things!!!

Amanda's Senior Portraits

Wow, what a great time I had at my very first senior portrait shoot last night! After rescheduling 3 times due to weather, we were rewarded with a gorgeous Spring evening. The shoot was at one of my favorite San Diego beaches, Windansea. Amanda is my bestfriend Denielle's niece, and great looks obviously run in the family ;) Amanda was a pleasure to work with, and her photos turned out beautiful, just like her!
